A steady place to find your footing when life feels uncertain.

Life does not always come in calm waters. Grief, stress, changing relationships, family challenges, and major transitions can leave even the strongest people feeling overwhelmed or unsure of what comes next.

At Supportive Shores Family and Therapy Services, the idea behind the name is simple: the shoreline does not stop the waves, but it can give you a steady place to stand while you face them.

WHAT THERAPY WITH ME FEELS LIKE

Less clinical performance. More honesty, connection, clarity, and forward movement.

We can laugh. We can sit in silence. We can talk about the hard thing you have avoided for years. We can slow down when you need to and get practical when you are ready.

Is This You?

You're tired of clinical walls and ready for a space that feels like a coastal exhale.

You value real conversation over robotic scripting and generic worksheets.

You want a therapist who is actually in the room with you, showing up as a human first.

The Supportive Shores Difference

Connection First

We prioritize the human element of therapy. You are more than a diagnosis; you are a person seeking genuine connection and a safe harbor to be heard.

Real Conversation

No clinical distance or rigid templates. Our sessions are active, engaged dialogues designed to explore your world with empathy and professional insight.

Forward Movement

We don't just stay in the past. We use it to address the present. We work together to find actionable steps and tools that create real, sustainable change in your daily life.

My belief about healing

Healing isn't a linear path to a fixed destination; it's the brave act of returning to yourself, layer by layer, until you remember the person you were always meant to be before the world told you otherwise.

I believe symptoms make sense in context. Anxiety, shutting down, overthinking, people-pleasing, anger, perfectionism, emotional numbness and always needing to be "the strong one" often started as ways to survive something difficult.

Therapy is not about shaming those patterns. It is about understanding them, deciding whether they still serve you and building something healthier in their place.  Our approach is inspired by the starfish story: we know that while we cannot change the entire world at once, for the individual we are helping in this moment, our work makes all the difference.
